Book Review by Mrs. Mary McElroy, author of Fantail Journeys, Diary at Sea

Mary McElroyProduct DetailsMary McElroy is a resident of Mukilteo, WA along with her husband, John.  Together they raised three daughters and now love spending time with their eight grandchildren.  For eight years, Mary taught children with learning disabilities and then spent fifteen years as the elementary principal of Snohomish County Christian School.  She delights in seeing children enjoy reading books, especially those that increase their faith in God.
As a sophomore in college, Mary desired to see the world, even though she had never been far from home and family.  She was accepted into the seven seas college program and found herself on a four month, semester at sea with 430 students from all over the U.S.A.  Fantail Journeys, Diary at Sea is her story.  Besides taking classes on the ship, keeping up her grades and seeing seventeen countries, Mary and her friends found adventure in the jungle of Nigeria, the metro in Paris and the Kasbah in Morocco.
Retirement gave Mary the time to write the book that had been a dream for many years.  Fantail Journeys was just published in July of 2010 and is available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com.  It is written for teen-age girls who may discover that with faith in God, anything is possible and the adventure is definitely worth it.
