The Princess Plot by Kirsten Boie: Student Review by Erica

princessIf you have never read the Princess Plot, you are definetly missing out on one of the craziest books you will ever read. A over protective mom, an undercover princess, an uncle who wants to overcome Scandia without hurting anybody, and of course, all powerful (maybe not) Jenna who is by the way, supposed to rule Scandia without getting caught by the people.

Her mom is NOT okay with her daughter running in a competition for a role in a princess movie but Jenna sneaks away just wanting for once to make her own life decisions. Luckily, the director lays it all out to her mom over the phone and Jenna is all set. She surprises herself by actually getting the job! She is whisked away to an amazing land full of wonders… and secrets.

Meanwhile, Melina, the true princess is running for her life from the police trying hard not to be brought back to her own country with an ncle who bascially hatesyet loves her. It’s complicated.

Read this complex, fun, and adventerous book that will keep you going around corners very slowly unfolds a ravishing mystery.
