The Sisters Grimm: The Problem Child by Michael Buckley: Student Review by Marianna
Today I finished reading The Problem Child, book 3 of the Sisters Grimm series! I love this insane twisted fairie tale style that Michael Buckley has put into it. In this book Sabrina and Daphne Grimm are attacked by a little girl and her “kitty” as she calls it, even though it is really a Jabberwocky that is 2 tons of tail, teeth, and terror. The girls think that they have figured out how has captured their parents, but could it really be a little phyco kid that is younger than Daphne? Durning their attempts to solve this mystery a lost and forgotten realitive comes to help. When things start to get out of hand, it seams to Sabrina that the only thing that can help is magic. Her Granny Relda worns her that with magic there is always a price! She doesn’t always listen so things could easily get harder and worse! Will the family Grimm every find there beloved Henry and Veronica, or will they stay lost for ever? Read The Sisters Grimm book 3, The Problem Child to find out what happens!
P.S. you have to read the books in order or else nothing will make sense

The Light Princess by George McDonald:Student Review by Kaitlin
The Light Princess is a great Fairy Tale book. It is about a Princess who is cursed by a fairy when she is born she can fly and has no gravity! It is awfully hard for the King, Queen, and servants because whenever they try to rock the little princess to sleep she just goes flying into the air. Read this book and find out if the Princesses curse goes away. The author George Mcdonald is a fantastic book wrighter and has wrighten many other faboulous books. I encourage you to read this book!
The Sisters Grimm: The Problem Child by Michel Buckley:Student Review by Courtney
The Problem Child the 3rd book of The Sisters Grimm seires is about Little Red Riding Hood and how she thinks her family is still alive. She is “trying” to find all her family so they can play house. All Little Red Riding Hood needs left to get her “family” together is Granny Relda (who Little Red Riding Hood thinks is her grandmother) and Mr. Cains (who Little Red Riding Hood thinks is her dog because he is The Big Bad Wolf). She also has a Jabberwocky (which is a cat to Red Riding Hood), a little brother (which is a baby and they don’t know who it belongs to), and Sabrina’s and Daphnes’s mom and dad. One time in Ferryportlanding’s very own cafe’ the Jabberworky shows up with Red Riding Hood as its leader. Puck later shows up and tries to save Sabrina and Daphne but in the process gets his wings ripped off by the Jabberworky’s strong hands. For some people it maybe hard to understand because Sabrina has lots of dreams that are easy to get mixed up in when she wakes up. After you read the two books before this one you know it will turn out alright even thought thsi book and the book before his one ends in to be continued.I love it though because it makes me want to read the next book. For some people who don’t like those kinds of endings you would proapably like the first book and then you make your choice. Also remember this is all the way fiction with the fairy-tale characters in it. and I alaways like to put the rating so it’s for hard-reading 3rd graders and up. And alaways remember “Read what you love” “Love what you read”. Remember that quote for everything you read. I am reading the 4th book and I can’t wait to do a book review on that book which if you’re looking for it the title is Once Upon a Crime. I can’t wait to read the next three books we have in the library.
The Sisters Grimm: The Unusual Suspects Book Review by Courtney
The Sisters Grimm The Unusal Suspects by Michael Buckley is second book of The Sisters Grimm as you know it is a great book because Lulu is doing the first one. The Sisters Grimm is about Daphne and Sabrina Grimm. They live in a world filled with mythical creatures and people from story books. Like some of the people from the story are: Snow White (a teacher at Ferryport Landing Elementary, Prince Charming (Billy the mayor of Ferryport Landing),The Big Bad Wolf ( Granny Relda, Daphne, And sabrina’s body gaurd, and many others like Beauty and the beast and the mirror mirror on the wall and many others. (this is just in case Lulu didnt tell you about the characters in her blog). The author Michael Buckley is a very talented at writing and has a very creative imagination. I have been waiting for the third book for at least a month! I can’t wait to read the next two books in the series then blog about them. I’m very enthusiastic about them. And remember to never judge a book by the cover becaue if there is a plain book always just flip to a page to see if the print is good for your eyes and if it sounds interesting to you. I’m not saying that The Sisters Grimm has a boring cover. If the cover looks interesting it’s a good chance that it is interesting that is how I found out that The Sisters Grimm was so good just by looking at the cover. Whenever you go to the local libary ask about the first book The Sisters Grimm The Fairy Tale Detectives the first book so if you haven’t read about the first book take a look at the book review by Lulu.
