Do you like dogs? Do you like to read? “Reading with Rover” is a community-based literacy program volunteering in the schools, bookstores and libraries in the Puget Sound area of Washington State.
In the “Rover” program children actually read stories to a dog and the dog loves listening!
The “Reading with Rover” program can be found twice each month at the Edmonds Library from 11:00 to 12 Noon. The dates are October 9th, October 23, November 6, November 20, and December 4th.
In addition to reading to some lovely dogs, students who attend five times receive a “Reading with Rover” book bag!!! Reading with Rover is a wonderful way to connect your student to their public library. More information on the program can be found at www.readingwithrover.org See you there!!!
